I had a great time chatting with Billy and discussing the thought process behind our new DIY boardgame. It goes to show what can be done remotely, explores the possibilities of DIY board games and how we can be more creative with sustainable materials.

After a couple of months, my son was finally done with the previous TMNT cardboard play set..at least that’s what I thought. Of course as soon as I recycled it, he wanted to play with it again. Enter Playset #2.

This time I decided to add some color and gave each of the characters a little brick and mortar location in the mall. You can’t always get free pizza - they gotta make money somehow right?

5+ months later… and it still gets played with occasionally. Cardboard for the win!
